It is a collection of valuable tips, techniques, and plans for the novice and expert alike. I'm certainly in the newby group and can spend hours learning from others in the WoodTalk Online sections. There are forums (http://www.woodtalkonline.com/) from General Woodworking Talk to Project Showcases by members of the Woodworking Guild and the Modern Woodworkers Association. (You do have to do the usual registration to fully participate.) It is a very active place:
