Winter Wind. Continuing the Seasons Series

Welcome to my blog for
www.StickStaffCane.etsy.com and www.youwoodlikethis.etsy.com

It is all about carving - tips and techniques, works in progress, completed projects, how to instructions, and future plans.

Note that Phaal Nap (Fail Nap) is a pseudonym, nom de plume, and anagram for Hal Papan. I usually write when I can't sleep. Ergo, Fail Nap. Of course, Hal Papan is my nom de couteau (knife name instead of pen name) and anagram for my real name, Alan Happ. I carve under the name Hal Papan.

Sweetgum Walking/Hiking Stick Has Winter Wind Spirit On the TopWinter Wind came out a bit harsh but isn't winter a bit of a harsh season?

This six foot walking/hiking stick would be a stylish companion in the woods, at work, or out on the town. It is made of Sweetgum with Honey Gold stain for the hair, aged White for the spirit's face, and Light Pecan for the shaft. And, yes, the strands of hair rise up tornado style separately. Natural stain with 5 coats polyurethane protection and finished with hard wood wax.

Winter Wind now spends winter and the other seasons in Midland  Michigan, USA (North of Detroit and Flint).
